As GoLocalProv reported, the Providence Board of Licenses voted to close Club Seven, but the Department of Business Regulation ruled that the club can reopen with a number of strict guidelines, including an 11 p.m. closure.
Attorney Nick Hemond for Club Seven told GoLocal LIVE that he doesn’t see that happening.
“To be honest, before this started, we were talking about an exit strategy for the owner of this establishment there have been a number of people interested in both buying the business and the building itself,” said Hemond. “Even if they had given him everything in the world and dismissed the case, I don’t know that this club owner would have reopened in the immediate future.”
