AOC to Get Rid of Tesla - Week After GoLocal Hit Cicilline's Lack of Support of Union Workers

She made the comments on her appearance on Face the Nation.
Last weekend, a GoLocal editorial took former Rhode Island Congressman David Cicilline to task for having claimed to be pro-union, but he, too, drives a non-union-made Tesla.

She said she bought her Tesla during the pandemic to commute between her New York City district and Washington, D.C.
“We’re actually looking into trading in our car now,” she said. “So we’re looking into it and hopefully we will soon.”

In 2017, when Cicilline was a member of Congress, he chest pounded and would have blocked Norwegian Air coming to Rhode Island because of their labor practices -- the key step to growing the now-Rhode Island International Airport and jobs.
Other Democratic leaders supported Norweigan’s arrival, but Cicilline defended his opposition on supposedly labor grounds.
Today, Cicilline quit his seat in Congress and is now paid more than $650,000 as head of the Rhode Island Foundation — an organization dedicated to helping Rhode Island’s needy.
