EDITORIAL: Pandemic Fatigue - We Are Tired of the Virus, But It Still Loves to Infect Us
We are all so ready to restart our lives.
We are tired of the pressures of wearing masks, socially distancing, constant hand washing and sanitizing — especially during the holidays.
Our fatigue is the virus's dream. It so loves lax behavior, lack of self-control and desire to just catch up with a few friends.

The virus is rampant in Rhode Island. We are the state on the East Coast with the highest level of infection.
Infection converts to hospitalizations and then a percentage sadly die.
Now, over 1,200 Rhode Islanders have died and the University of Washington model has more than 3,000 deaths by February 1, 2021 with the existing restrictions.
This virus doesn’t care about your mom’s apple pie at Thanksgiving or your desire to catch up with those great friends.
The virus loves your fatigue.
