Funeral Arrangements for Cianci
GoLocalProv has learned that Vincent “Buddy” Cianci will lie in repose next Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon to 6 pm — February 6th and 7th.
Crowds for Cianci are expected to exceed 5,000 over the two day viewing.
As GoLocal first reported Cianci’s death on Thursday, it sparked an outpouring of shock and sadness across Rhode Island and the United States.

Cianci, who is the longest serving mayor in Providence’s history was one of the best known and controversial Rhode Islanders.
His funeral will be held on Monday, February 8 at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul on 30 Fenner Street.
