Providence police are investigating a report of a man brandishing a gun in a barbershop in Providence.

About Incident

Shortly after 6 PM on Saturday, police responded to a report of a man with a gun at La Rabia Barbershop at 847 Potters Avenue in Providence.

Police said they met with a witness, who said he was in the shop when a man came in and pointed a gun at several workers.

The suspect then reportedly fled the shop on foot.

According to police after speaking with additional witnesses, the suspect was known to individuals in the barbershop.

Detectives are currently investigating.
