UPDATED: Man Killed Thanksgiving Eve Identified - 8th Homicide of Year

A man who was shot and killed in Providence last Wednesday has been identified.

The shooting occurred shortly after 6 PM last Wednesday. 

Today, Providence Police said in a statement that "Craig Robinson, age 24, has been identified as the victim of the homicide that occurred on November 23rd in the area of Phebe Street in Providence."

The victim was reportedly in a vehicle when he was shot. 

Police are now investigating the city’s latest homicide after a man was stabbed last weekend outside Cadillac Lounge.

Wednesday's homicide marks the 8th of the year in the city.
