Man Driving Car in Providence Shot at Multiple Times — Police Find Over 20 Bullet Holes in Vehicle

Providence police are investigating a car being shot at over twenty times in Providence.

According to police, they responded on Sunday night at approximately 10:30 PM to Bodell Avenue — off of Hartford Avenue — for a report of shots fired. 

The victim — a 20-year-old male — told police he was driving his car on Bodell Avenue when a male suspect in a white sedan began shooting at him.

According to the victim, the suspect’s car blocked his path and continued shooting before driving off. 

Police say that more than 20 bullet holes were found in the victim’s vehicle, and shell casings were found at the scene.

Detectives are currently investigating.
