Man Stabbed in Providence, Police Searching for Female Suspect

A man was reportedly stabbed in Providence on Monday evening — and police are searching for a female suspect.

About Incident

Shortly after 5 PM on Monday, police responded to 460 Charles Street for a report of a disturbance.

According to police, they found a male victim in the hallway when they arrived.

The man, who was stabbed in both arms, was reportedly conscious — but did not provide any information to police.

Police reported speaking with the victim’s mother, who had told her son to leave their apartment when she heard a commotion in the hallway. 

The victim’s mother said she saw her son being stabbed by an unknown female, who then fled.

Providence police are currently investigating.
