UPDATED: 17 New RI Coronavirus Deaths, 316 Current Hospitalizations
GET THE LATEST BREAKING NEWS HERE -- SIGN UP FOR GOLOCAL FREE DAILY EBLASTRIDOH Director Dr. Nicole Alexander Scott (left) and RI Governor Gina Raimondo (right).The Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) announced on Saturday 17 additional coronavirus deaths in the state, with COVID-19 related fatalities now totaling 296.
Over the past day, RIDOH reported 327 new positive cases for 9,289 in total.
Currently, there are 316 hospitalizations, with 80 in the ICU and 54 on ventilators.
Governor Gina Raimondo and officials will be at the Rhode Island State House at 1 PM for the daily coronavirus briefing.
