NEW: Another Week, Another Rise in Gas Prices in RI

A week after the average price at the pump skyrocketed 12 cents, AAA Southern New England has reported that there has been yet another increase over the last seven days as prices ticked up another eight cents to reach $3.749 per gallon for regular, unleaded.
Rhode Island drivers are now paying 21 cents more per gallon than they were a month ago and the current price is 16 cents higher than the national average of $3.58 per gallon.

AAA said that the Ocean State currently has a range of 20 cents per gallon, from a low of $3.659 to a high of $3.859.
Midgrade gasoline also saw an eight-cent hike this week, rising to $3.909 per gallon, while premium and diesel prices each rose slightly, with prices for those grades currently at $4.049 and $4.139 respectively.
