Multiple Pawtucket Firefighters Are Facing Disciplinary Action

Six or more Pawtucket Firefighters are facing disciplinary actions, GoLocal has learned.

 

The investigation has been going on for weeks, and a formal announcement is expected soon. Pawtucket Mayor Donald Grebien is aware of the situation.

A spokesman for the City of Pawtucket, Chris Hunter, said in a statement to GoLocal:

 

I can confirm, a pre-deprivation hearing took place yesterday for several firefighters following an internal investigation.

 

This is a personnel matter, and the investigation is still ongoing.
