NEW: Providence Police Arrest Man With Loaded Glock Outside of Allens Avenue Strip Club

A man was arrested outside of an Allens Avenue strip club in Providence early Friday morning with a loaded weapon. 

Friday Morning Apprehension

According to Providence police, shortly after 1 A.M. on Friday morning, officers were in the area of 257 Allens Avenue outside Wonderland and observed a disturbance.

Police were advised a subject had brandished a firearm and witnesses pointed him out to police.  

Police detained a 29-year-old male subject and conducted a pat-down at which time a loaded Glock 17 pistol was seized from his waistband.  

He was placed into custody and transported to Central Station without incident.
