Rhode Island again on Thursday failed to even vaccinate 2,000 Rhode Islanders.

The state is currently storing tens of thousands of doses of vaccine and continues to work at a pace that will take years to hit the Biden administration's goal of 75% to 85% for herd immunity.

Presently, somewhere between 28,000 and 40,000 vaccines doses received by the state have yet to be used and are in storage.
