NEW: RI Reports Two Day Total of 26 New Coronavirus Deaths, 152 New Cases - Deaths Now 634

The Rhode Island Department of Health reported on Tuesday two days of new COVID-19 related deaths -- a total of 26.

This brings the state’s total number of deaths to 634.

In addition, RIDOH posted 152 new positive cases for a total of 14,210.

Currently, there are 226 hospitalizations, with 50 in the ICU and 36 on ventilators. 

Raimondo stressed on Tuesday that students in Rhode Island need to continue to work hard for the final three to four weeks of the academic year.

In addition, Raimondo reiterated the importance that Rhode Islanders need to wear masks when they leave their homes.
