One Person Dead Following Early Morning Crash in Cranston, State Police Investigating

The Rhode Island State Police are investigating a crash on route 10 in Cranston that resulted in the death of a 32-year-old Rhode Island man.

State Police have identified the victim as Matthew Ross, of Warwick.

According to State Police, on Wednesday morning at approximately 2:05 a.m. Troopers received a report of a crash on Route 10 south, south of the Garfield Avenue exit ramp in Cranston.

The car exited the roadway, struck the right shoulder guardrail and rolled over.

Ross, the driver of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.
