PHOTO: South Kingstown Police Arrest Man Who Crashes Tesla Into Coffee Shop
At about 1:25 AM on Tuesday, the South Kingstown Police Department arrested Mark A. DeLong, age 30, of 135 Great Neck Road, North Kingstown, for suspicion of driving under the influence of liquor and or drugs.

His arrest was preceded by his crashing his 2025 Tesla into TLC Coffee Roasters.
“Driving under the influence of alcohol or cannabis is never acceptable,” said Matthew Moynihan, Chief of Police for South Kingstown. “There is no excuse for impaired driving—use a rideshare, call a friend, or stay put. Choosing to drive impaired is reckless, and the extensive damage to this small business is a direct result of that poor decision.”
DeLong was held overnight and arraigned on Tuesday at the Washington District Court.
