Providence Police Name Suspect Arrested in Latest Homicide

Providence Police have identified the victims of two shootings in the city over the weekend. 

The victim shot and killed Sunday morning on Burnside Avenue in South Providence was Ivan Encarnacion, age 25.

According to Providence Detectives Major David Lapatin, Antonio Reyson Leonor Uffre has been arrested in connection with the homicide and is facing multiple charges.

The victim in Saturday’s shooting on North Main Street was identified as Mario Severino.
