RI Gas Prices Drop A Penny From Last Week

Local prices are 20 cents higher than a month ago and the current price is currently two cents more than the national average for regular unleaded gasoline. A year ago at this time Rhode Island's average price was $1.16 higher at $3.60.
“There’s good news for motorists this morning as prices at the pump reverse direction. This welcome decrease reflects a dip in crude oil prices as well as robust supplies here in the U.S,” said Lloyd P. Albert, Senior Vice President of Public and Government Affairs for AAA Northeast.
