NEW: RI Gas Prices Up Slightly From Last Week

The price of gasoline in Rhode Island is up two cents per gallon from last week according to AAA Southern New England.

In their December 30th survey of prices in Rhode Island, AAA found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $3.54 per gallon, up two cents from last week. Prices locally are up six cents from a month ago. The current price is 23 cents higher than the national average for regular unleaded of $3.31. This time last year, Rhode Island’s average price was three cents lower at $3.51.

The range in prices in the latest local AAA survey for unleaded regular is 21 cents, from a low of $3.47 to a high of $3.68.
