Shots Fired Into Group Home Van on East Side of Providence - Juvenile Arrested
Providence police are investigating a report of shots being fired into a group home van on the East Side on Thursday afternoon.
A juvenile has been arrested, according to police.

About Incident
Shortly after 1 PM on Thursday, Providence police said they received reports that shots were fired into a van owned by the "Communities for People" group home.
It is located on the 300 block of Hope street on the East Side.
The group home said that multiple people were in the van at the time of the shooting -- and that no one was injured.
Police said that they received statements from witnesses who said they saw shots fired from a vehicle bearing Rhode Island license plates.
Based on the information, it was determined that the vehicle involved was stolen.
Shortly after the shooting, police say they apprehended a juvenile who is now facing multiple charges -- and has been held at the training school.
Police are still seeking additional suspects, as well as the weapon used.
Detectives are currently investigating.
