Warwick Mayor Joseph Solomon announced that City Park ballfields improvements are now underway.

“City Park is one of the busiest in Warwick, and these improvements will further ensure the enjoyment and comfort of residents and out-of-town guests who visit there. Having top-notch recreational facilities is great for our community. It also enhances our ability to bring new, regional tournaments and other sporting events to our City, which will benefit our hotels, restaurants and other local businesses,” said Solomon.

The work is expected to be completed by early summer.
