NEW: Voter Turnout by 2:30 PM in Providence Less Than Expected

Despite a record amount of spending for the Rhode Island governor's race, voter turnout in the state's capital has been less than expected so far.

While voter turnout has been less than expected in Providence and other parts of Rhode Island so far, voters from the Elmwood Community Center and Martin Luther King Elementary School in Providence shared who they voted for and why.
