The Brown Bears men's basketball team (0-1) fell 77-65 to (1-0) Saint Peter's on Friday night in New Jersey.

Brown had a nine point lead, 56-47, after two Tavon Blackmon free throws went through the net with nine minutes to play in the game.

However, St. Peter's would respond with a 15-2 run to take 62-58 lead with four minutes left in the game. 

St. Peter's would extend the lead from there, going up 71-61 with 1:54 left to play and proceeded to seal the game at the free throw line.

Brown returns to action on Monday, November 16th when they host New England rival Holy Cross at the Pizzitola Center.
