Brown Wins 4th Straight, 44-24 Over Cornell

The Brown Bears (4-2, 2-1 Ivy) defeated the (0-6, 0-3 Ivy) Cornell Big Red 44-24 on Saturday afternoon in New York. Brown has now won four straight games. 

The Bears were led by junior running back Johnny Pena who rushed for a career high 112 yards and four touchdowns on 25 carries. 

Pena scored two of Brown's three first quarter touchdowns to give the Bears a 21-0 lead with 5:57 left in the quarter.

The Bears would not look back, leading 34-10 at halftime, 34-17 after three quarters before winning 44-24. 

Notable Stats 

Brown quarterback Marcus Fuller was 22 of 38 for 312 yards and two touchdowns  in the game. 

While Pena carried the offense, wide receiver Alex Jette did his part with nine catches for 157 yards and one touchdown. 

Cornell's Ben Rogers had five catches for 109 yards and two touchdowns.
