The Bears open the season 1-0, while Bryant falls to 0-4.

Brown Beats Bryant
The Bears led 21-17 heading into the fourth quarter until Bryant running back Kory Curtis found the end zone on a two-yard run to give the Bulldogs a 24-21 lead.
Brown would respond when quarterback EJ Perry found Scott Boylan on a six-yard touchdown pass to give the Bears a 28-24 lead.
On Brown’s next offensive possession, Perry broke a 94-yard touchdown run on the first play of the drive to extend the Bears lead to 35-24.
Perry, who transferred in from Boston College, accounted for 410 yards of total offense (183 passing yards), and five touchdowns (three passing, two rushing) in the game.
"EJ has practiced hard since the opening of camp on August 24 when he came to the team in great shape. It's really special for me that he's my nephew. He will only get a greater command of our offense as the season progresses,” said coach Perry
The Bulldogs cut Brown’s lead to 35-30 and had the ball on the Brown 14-yard line with just seconds left.
However, Brown linebacker Jason Medeiros picked off Bryant quarterback Kory Curtis to end the game.

The Bears return to action on Friday, September 27 when they visit Harvard.
