The Brown Bears will look to get back in the win column on Saturday when they host Columbia at Brown Stadium in their final home game of the season.

The Bears are 1-7 overall and have lost five straight games since beating Georgetown back in September.

The Lions come in with a record of 4-4 overall and 1-4 in the Ivy League.

Game time is set for 12 noon.

Brown vs Columbia

Saturday’s game will mark the 83rd meeting between the two programs dating back to 1902.

The Bears lead the all-time series 52-28-2, but have lost the last two games.

Prior to that, Brown won the previous four games.

Brown Offense

The Bears enter Saturday’s contest averaging just 14 points per game on the season.

The Bears offense is led by quarterback Michael McGovern, who ranks 27th in the country in completions with 18.25 per game.

In Brown’s last game against Yale, McGovern completed 25 of 47 passes for a career-high 358 yards and a touchdown.

Jakob Prall and Anton Casey lead the wide receivers with 20 catches for 344 yards and 26 catches for 328 yards respectively.

Allen Smith leads Brown’s rushing attack with 41 carries for 186 yards and two touchdowns.

Brown Defense

The Bears defense comes into the game giving up an average of 34 points per game and has given up 271 points so far this season.

Brown gives up an average of 254 rushing yards and 234 passing yards per game so far this season.

The Brown defense is led by defensive end Michael Hoecht, who has 59 tackles on the season, including five tackles for a loss and three sacks.

Defensive tackle Daryle Banfield has 28 tackles on the year, after recording just 18 tackles all of last season.
