Bryant vs New Haven

Saturday’s game will be the first-ever meeting between Bryant and New Haven.

New Haven went 6-4 in 2017 and finished fourth in the NE - 10 Conference.

Bryant is a former member of the NE -10 Conference, but never faced the Chargers as New Haven was not a program during Bryant’s time.

Bryant Offense

On the offensive side of the ball, the Bulldogs will be led by redshirt senior quarterback Price Wilson.

Last season, Wilson threw for a program-record 3,311 yards, 10 yards shy of breaking the NEC single-season record.

Redshirt junior wide receiver Jean Constant was named a STATS FCS Preseason All-American, the first in program history.

He caught 48 passes for 594 yards and seven touchdowns last season and started in all 11 games.

Bryant also returns senior receiver Tom Kennedy, who caught 57 passes for 888 yards and nine touchdowns last season. He also rushed for three touchdowns.

Bryant Defense

On the defensive side of the ball, the Bulldogs will be led by senior Thomas Costigan, who was also named a STATS FCS Preseason All-American along with Constant.

Last season, Costigan recorded 103 tackles, 11.5 sacks and 17 tackles for a loss on his way to NEC and ECAC Defensive Player of the Year honors.

The Bulldogs also return All-NEC defensive lineman Kevin Lazo and Dillon Guthro.
