Bryant Falls to Dartmouth 76-59, Open NEC Play on Saturday

The Bryant Bulldogs (3-6) fell to the (6-6) Dartmouth Big Green on Wednesday afternoon 76-59 at the Chace Athletic Center. The loss snaps Bryant's two game winning streak.

Bryant had an early 12-7 lead with 13 minutes left to play in the first half and then led 17-16 with eight minutes left in the half before the Big Green went on an 10-2 run to go up 26-19 and they would not look back.

Dartmouth would lead 35-25 at the half and in the second half, the Bulldogs were not able to get closer then six points at 47-41 with 12 minutes left in the game, however the Big Green would push the lead right back up to double figures and cruise to the win. 

Joe O'Shea led the Bulldogs with 12 points in the game on four of eight shooting from the field while Dyami Starks and Hunter Ware followed up with 10 points each. 

Connor Boehm led Dartmouth and all scorers with 20 points while teammate Alex Mitola added 14 points and pulled down nine rebounds. 

The Bulldogs return to action on Saturday, January 3 when they visit LIU Brooklyn in their first conference game of the season. Tip-off is set for 4:30 p.m.
