Former WPRI-12 Sports Anchor Battles Back from Brain Aneurysm

Former WPRI-12 and ESPN sportscaster Bob Halloran is recovering from brain surgery to combat an aneurysm, according to his present employer WCVB in Boston.

Halloran who worked for four years 1993 to 1997. He worked at ESPN from 2000 to 2003 and joined WCVB in 2003. Halloran was widely respected when he worked in the Providence-market.

According to the station, “Bob still has a way to go before he is fully recovered, but he'll make it through with the ongoing support from friends, family and the community.”
