Brown Lacrosse Given 5 Seed in NCAA Tourney, Will Host Johns Hopkins

The Brown Bears men's lacrosse team has been given a 5 seed in the NCAA Lacrosse tournament and will host Johns Hopkins in the first round on Saturday at 5 p.m. 

The game will be televised on ESPNU. 

This is the second straight season in which Brown has made it to the tournament.

Brown This Season 

Brown is coming off a first round loss in the Ivy League Tournament against Harvard on Friday night. The Bears entered the Ivy League tournament as the top seed while Harvard entered as the 4th seed. 

Brown finished the regular season with a 14-1 record, knocking off Yale, who was ranked number one at the time, in mid April. The Bears proceeded to go 6-0  in Ivy League play and climbed to as high as #2 in the the country. 

The Bears are led by the Ivy League Player of the Year Dylan Molloy and the Ivy League Coach of the Year in Lars Tiffany.
