Patriots’ Barmore Accuses Providence Police of Racism

New England Patriots defensive tackle Christian Barmore accused Providence Police of racism on social media overnight.

Barmore went on X, where he has over 38,000 followers, writing the following at 1:21 AM Wednesday morning. 

“I just experienced for the first time 5 Providence cops being very unprofessional racism at its finest,” wrote Barmore.

Barmore, who was drafted by the New England Patriots in the second round (38th overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft, has been out since the summer with blood clots. 

Providence police did not immediately respond to request for comment at time of publication.

Recently, New England Patriots captain Jabrill Peppers was arrested on strangulation and drug possession charges.
