Opening up at Home
The Patriots kick off the preseason against the New Orleans Saints in week 1 at Gillette Stadium and then host Chicago in week 2, at Gillette Stadium.

The Patriots and Bears will play each other in the preseason for the first time since 2003 and marks just the 3rd preseason game ever between the franchises.
New England will open up the preseason with two homes games for the first time since 2012.
On the Road
The Patriots will then hit the road and visit the defending NFC Champion Carolina Panthers in the third preseason game. This marks the third straight season in which the Patriots have played Carolina in the preseason.

Dates and Times
While exact dates and times of the games have not yet been released.
Week 1 of the preseason will take place from August 11-15, week 2 from August 18-22, week 3 from August 25-28 and the week 4 will either be on September 1 or 2.
