The Patriots & the AFC Playoff Picture With a Week to go

The NFL season is down to the final week and in the AFC, the playoff picture is still pretty fluid.

The New England Patriots have a first round bye no mater what happens, however, there is still work to be done to get the number one seed.

The Patriots have to win on Sunday against the Dolphins to clinch the top seed, or get losses by both Cincinnati and Denver, but it's easier to just win.

The Broncos and the Bengals are both in the playoffs and are still alive for the number one seed.

The Broncos could end up as high as the one seed or as a low as a wild card spot as Kansas City is right behind them.

Meanwhile, the Bengals will end up as high as the one seed or as low as the three seed as hey have clinched their division.

Outside Looking in

Teams on the outside include Pittsburgh and Indianapolis.

The Steelers can only get in if they win and the Jets lose to Buffalo, while the Colts need to win and have nine other teams lose.

GoLocal teams up with GraphIQ to take a look at the most up to date AFC Standings and an over view of the Patriots.
