NEW: PC Basketball Alum LaDontae Henton Signs Pro Contract in Spain

LaDontae Henton
Former Providence College basketball star LaDontae Henton has signed a pro contract with C.D. Baloncesto Sevilla of Spain. The signing comes a little less than a month after Henton played NBA summer league with the Golden State Warriors.

LaDontae Henton announced the signing on his twitter account.

Sevilla also posted a video on their YouTube page of LaDontae Henton and his message to the team shortly after the signing.

LaDontae Henton leaves Providence College as the second all-time leading scorer and the second player in program history to reach the 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds milestone.

Ryan Gomes is the first player in both of those categories.

The 6'6" Henton helped lead Providence to a Big East Championship in 2014 and to back to back NCAA Tournament appearances for the first time since the 1989-90 season.
