PC Beats DePaul - Led the Entire Game

The Providence College men’s basketball team dominated DePaul University from beginning to end at home on Saturday afternoon.

PC won 90-72.

First Half

Providence College led DePaul 43-26 in arguably its best first half of the season.

The Friars were led by Jaylin Sellers with 14 points.  Jason Edwards, who returned after injuries, and Oswin Erhunmwunse both added 10 points.

 

Second Half

More of the same. The Friars were led by Edwards, who scored 25 points, and were followed by another outstanding game by Sellers, who finished with 21 in 22 minutes.

The Friars never trailed in the game and shot a blistering 59% for the game, and 43%

PC improves to 11-13 overall and 4-9 in the Big East. Even with the win, they are in a multi-team tie for last, which includes DePaul.

DePaul falls to 12-12 and 4-9 in the conference

PC plays Wednesday at Seton Hall.
