REPORT: New England Rival Manning, Accused of Doping

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has been accused using human growth hormone, a performance enhancing drug that is banned by the NFL, during the 2011 season, according to a report set to be released in full today by Al Jazeera America. Manning sat out the 2011 season while recovering and rehabbing from neck surgery.

The report states that Manning had the HGH shipped to his house under his wife's name. Manning denied report in a statement released through the Broncos.

"The allegation that I would do something like that is complete garbage and totally made up. It never happened. Never. I really can't believe somebody would put something like this on the air. Whoever said this is making stuff up, " Manning said.

The allegations in the report come from Charlie Sly who worked as a pharmacist at the Guyer Institute in Austin, Texas where Manning went to rehab. Sly has since recanted his statements,

Manning has not played a game for the Broncos since November 15th after suffering a left foot injury. Denver returns to action on Monday night when the broncos host Cincinnati on Monday Night football.
