URI Gives Up 90+ Points Again, Loses 4th Straight

The University of Rhode Island men’s basketball team lost its fourth consecutive game in a row, falling at George Mason 92-84.

 

In three of the four losses, the Rams have given up 90-plus points.

Now, URI is 9-11  and 3-4 in the A-10.

 

The Rams were led by David Greens 29 points, and he added 6 rebounds.

 

URI led at the half against George Mason 42-40 and then proceeded to give up 52 points in the second half.

 

The Rams poor defense continues to drive the season's woes. The Rams had just 3 points off George Mason turnovers.

 

The Patriots shot 51% from the field, 32% from the 3-point line and 76% from the free-throw line.

 

George Mason improves to 15-5 and 4-3 in A-10.
