B.Good Closes on Thayer Street — See What is Replacing It

The restaurant B.Good has closed on Thayer Street. 

The establishment at the corner of Meeting and Thayer Streets is currently shuttered — with a building permit posted in the window.

That restaurant, which currently has a location in Hoboken, New Jersey, is now coming to the commercial area adjacent to Brown University on the East Side. 


Latest on Thayer

GoLocal was first to report in 2017 that Johnny Rockets — which was the tenant at the location before B.Good on Thayer Street — was closing. 

During the coronavirus pandemic. B.Good was hit with a compliance order by the State of Rhode Island for having been found to have customers too close together.

In 2020, longtime locally-owned Thayer Street establishments Pie in the Sky and the Army/Navy Surplus store closed their doors.
