The law firm of Brennan, Recupero, Cascione, Scungio, and McAllister (BRCSM) announced the addition of Andrew Hogan and Lori Miller to the attorney team in the Providence office.

About Hogan

Hogan works on legal matters in the firm’s Education & Municipal Law, Personal Injury, Labor & Employment Law and Business Law practice areas. He frequently handles legal research and writing, drafting interrogatories, requests for production, motions to compel and various portions of legal memoranda submitted to courts and hearing agencies.

Most recently, he completed a clerkship in the Rhode Island Superior Court. During law school, he was a legal intern at BRCSM as well as a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Rogeriee Thompson at the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and a legal intern for the Rhode Island Office of the Attorney General.  

He is a 2017 cum laude graduate of the University Of New Hampshire School Of Law and received his undergraduate degree in 2012, magna cum laude, from Rhode Island College in Justice Studies. Admitted to practice law in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, Hogan is a resident of Cranston.

About Miller

Lori Miller
Miller joined the Education & Municipal Law team after more than three decades in finance for Rhode Island schools and municipalities. Most recently, she spent close to 19 years as the business administrator for the Lincoln Public Schools.

Miller is known for bringing stability to the finance offices of the school districts where she served and effectively interacting with students, faculty, staff and parents. Her in-depth knowledge of public education and her seasoned perspective on pivotal issues facing educators today is a major asset to BRCSM education clients.

Miller started her career in East Providence in accounting, was promoted to controller and went on to serve as the business administrator for the East Providence School Department. From there, she held a similar position for the East Greenwich School Department before moving to the Lincoln Public School Department in December of 1999. Over the years she received the statewide School Business Official of the Year award twice, in 2005 and in 2013.

Admitted to practice law in Rhode Island, she is a 1998 magna cum laude graduate of the Roger Williams School of Law; she received her MBA from Bryant University in 1992; and she completed her undergraduate degree at Providence College in 1979. She is a resident of Lincoln.
