Latest PawSox Move

The announcement in the latest of a series of press initiatives undertaking by the city and the team, following the new ownership group's failed effort to move the team to a new stadium in Providence, following massive public pushback.

In March, the PawSox donated recently purchased bleachers they couldn't use to the City of Pawtucket, and the team and city collaborated on efforts including new signage directing visitors to the stadium, and "pranking" residents on April Fools' Day along with the police by giving out baseball tickets to unsuspecting motorists.
