Moses Brown School Celebrates Legacy of Ron Dalgliesh upon Announcement of New Role at Edesia Nutrition

Moses Brown School announced that Associate Head of School Ron Dalgliesh will conclude 17 years of service to the school later this fall to take on the role of Chief Development & Global Sales Officer at Edesia Nutrition.

“I’m excited for the opportunities ahead at Edesia, a company with a clear and direct commitment to improving and saving lives,” says Dalgliesh.

Edesia Nutrition produces ready-to-use foods for children and mothers, which have saved 25 million lives in 65 countries, serving its mission of ending world malnutrition. Edesia’s founder and CEO is Navyn Salem, a parent of three Moses Brown alumnae, who has regularly worked with the school’s social innovation students on issues of malnutrition.

Dalgliesh has served Moses Brown as its Director of Development, Assistant and Associate Head, and Interim Head for the year leading up to the appointment of Katie Titus as Head of School in 2023. Ron was instrumental in the development and success of the school’s last strategic campaign. The MB Believes campaign, completed in 2020, raised $65 million towards the transformation of the campus and endowed scholarships, as well as curricular innovation and professional development.

“I’m incredibly proud of the mission and impact of Moses Brown School, educating students to know themselves, to take ownership of their intellectual journeys, and to make a real difference in a world that desperately needs them,” commented Dalgliesh about the school he served for nearly two decades. “I am happy to be leaving Moses Brown on the rise, with Katie’s strong, visionary leadership and with a new strategic plan soon to charge and guide the community.”

“Ron has been such a big part of Moses Brown’s success,” remarked Head of School Katie Titus, reflecting on Dalgliesh’s tenure. “I am grateful for his leadership and the legacy he created at the school. We prepare our students to be passionate, curious, lifelong learners committed to tackling real-world issues and living lives of greater purpose. Ron’s journey and this next step reflect just that.”
