RI Gas Prices Rise 7 Cents from Last Week

RI gas prices rise seven cents
Rhode Island gas prices rose seven cents this week, according to AAA Northeast’s latest survey.

“Thanks to increasing demand and tightening gasoline stocks across the country, March gas prices came in like a lion and will not go out like a lamb. State gas price averages are similar to a year ago give or take a few pennies, with every state but Florida seeing higher prices this week,” said Lloyd Albert, AAA Northeast Senior Vice President of Public and Government Affairs.

AAA’s March 25 survey of prices in Rhode Island finds self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $2.53 per gallon.
