RI Gas Prices Drop 2 Cents from Last Week

Gas prices drop two cents
Rhode Island gas prices dropped two cents this week and have fallen an average of 14 cents over the last month, according to AAA Northeast.

According to AAA’s December 24 survey, RI finds self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $2.50 per gallon.

Rhode Island’s price is 18 cents above the national average of $2.32.

A year ago, at this time, the average price in Rhode Island was two cents lower at $2.48 per gallon.

The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 34 cents, from a low of $2.34 to a high of $2.68.
