NEW: RI Gas Prices Inching to $2 a Gallon

Rhode Island gas prices for self serve, regular unleaded are averaging $2.01 per gallon, down 4 cents from last week, according to the most recent AAA survey.

Rhode Island's price is two cents above the national average fro regular unleaded of $1.99 and is down 51 cents from a year ago at this time.

The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 16 cents, from a low of $1.93 to a high of $2.09.
