NEW: CharterCARE Bans Hospital Visitors Due to Coronavirus Concerns

This impacts Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence and Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence.
“In an effort to further protect our patients and staff and limit potential exposure to the coronavirus (COVID-19), we will suspend all visitors to our hospitals for the immediate future. While we understand that this may be difficult for some patients and families, it is the safe and responsible decision at this time,” said Jeffrey Liebman, CEO of CharterCARE.
