Two great shows at the Narrows Center this weekend. First, guitar legend Leo Kottke appears tonight. Kottke is a “guitarist’s guitarist,” technically savy and fearless on his 12 string acoustic. A few tickets are left for the 8PM show. Saturday will be a real treat for Blues fans where the Godfather of the British Blues John Mayall and his band play. Mayall was a leader of the British Blues invasion and more or less discovered artists like Eric Clapton, Peter Green and Mick Taylor. The 8PM show is sold out.

Low Anthem at the Downtown Rink

There’s a free show tonight at the skating rink in downtown Providence featuring three of Rhode Island’s finest bands. The Low Anthem, Ravi Shavi and What Cheer Brigade will be rocking around the Providence Rink. There’ll be a beer garden, food trucks and more starting at 6PM. And did we mention, it's free!
