LEGO Store Opens Today at Providence Place
“Our store at Providence Place will enhance our consumers’ overall LEGO brand experience through product variety, store design and regular hands-on family events,” said Eric Wolfe, vice president, LEGO Group. Wolfe went on to say, “Children and families will be able to experience first-hand and hands-on the creativity and imagination that goes into LEGO building and be inspired by the over 4 million LEGO bricks that are in the store at any given time.”
LEGO stores feature an assortment of product covering nearly every square inch of space and each store features three key design components;

“Living Room” is an interactive play area prominently positioned in the center of the store, giving consumers a chance to get “hands-on, minds-on” with LEGO products.
“Brand Ribbon” runs the circumference of the store, featuring LEGO® model displays, company history and fun facts to entertain guests.
Guests will find a full selection of LEGO products and branded merchandise for children ages 2 and up, including DUPLO® sets, exciting themes such as NINJAGO, Elves, Friends and CITY and popular licensed items such as LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Disney Princess and LEGO Super Heroes.
There are 85 LEGO Stores in North America, including flagship locations in Chicago, Illinois and New York City as well as at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota, and in the DOWNTOWN DISNEY areas in Orlando, Florida and Anaheim, California.

Gallery Night

Sky Zone
Sky Zone is an indoor trampoline park that allows you to have hours of fun while exercising in a unique way. The trampolines reach from one edge of the floor to the other and angled trampolines allow you to literally bounce off walls. The Providence Athenaeum
The Providence Athenaeum is an independent library located on Providence’s Benefit Street. This library, founded in 1836, has welcomed many illustrious visitors throughout the years including Edgar Allen Poe. The library is open to the public and many of their programs are free. Roger Williams Park Botanical Center
The Botanical Center at Roger Williams Park is home to the largest indoor display gardens in New England. The Botanical Center includes two greenhouses with over 150 different species of plants. Waterfire Providence

Swan Boats
Not only are the swan boats a Boston tradition, but a ride is only $3 for adults and $1.50 for children (ages 2-15) making the boats a perfect activity for those on a budget.
