Like last year, the Newport Skating Center will have a full schedule of activities planned for the winter.

Activities include #CARRYLIGHT Friday Nights where guest can show us ways they ignite light and hope in the world with a video campaign, Family Fun Nights, Skates with Santa, Learn to Skate camp, community outreach support programs with non-profit groups including a Toy Drive for Santa’s Workshop at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center and, of course, the grand opening and traditional tree lighting ceremony on Friday, December 9.

Looking for Support

The rink relies on corporate sponsorships and community support to finance the rink's operation and maintenance.

“With that in mind, if any business or organization is interested in being part of three months of fun, healthy, family-friendly programming and activities we would welcome your involvement to ensure that this is our best skating season ever," said Palmieri.
