Saturday Night Live was new this week - and in its “cold open,” took on the latest news on the Jeffrey Epstein front.

In the skit, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, played by Ashley Padilla, gives a press briefing on newly released Epstein emails.

Donald Trump - played by James Austin Johnson - then appears to answer a few questions.

“We shall return to Epstein,” “Leavitt” responds to a reporter’s inquiry about U.S. funding to Argentina.

“If there was something incriminating in the files…why would I cover them up?” said “Trump” in the skit.
