Woonsocket Education Dept. to Award 23 Students With New Musical Instruments
The Woonsocket Education Department is set to host its Musical Instrument Awards Night on Tuesday, February 23rd at 6:30 p.m. at the Woonsocket High School Auditorium.
The awards night will feature 23 students receiving brand new instruments donated by the Domenic Izzi Jr. Foundation. This marks the largest donation that the foundation has ever made to a school department.
The night will start off with a presentation by the WHS AFJROTC Color Guard with a performance by the Woonsocket High School Band, followed by remarks from Mayor Lisa Baldelli-Hunt, Superintendent Dr. McGee, WSC Chairman Soren Seale, and the Domenic Izzi Jr. Foundation.
